Asset and Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Respsonbile for providing support to members of the Service Asset and Configuration Management team through data analysis, reporting, and alignment to regulatory compliance needs. Responsible for maintaining IT Asset Management and Configuration Management processes and activities for hardware assets, software assets, and configuration items.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with team members tor design and improve the processes and procedures for Hardware assets, Software assets, and Configuration Items.
- Maintain accurate Asset Repository and configuration management database for all Hardware assets, Software assets, and Configuration Items.
- Monitor software usage to reduce risk of noncompliance.
- Assist with the reconciliation of software licenses.
- Monitor hardware usage to reduce underutilized devices.
- Monitor configuration management database discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with follow-up actions to correct any problems or inefficiencies.
- Create and maintain enterprise level data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Provide general administration support functions necessary to maintain oversight and reporting of Assets and Configuration Items.
- Assist the IT Asset and Configuration Manager to perform audits of hardware, software, and associated services as required.
