Job Duties

The Department of Urology at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a Urologist to join our group at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania

Position Highlights

  • State of the art technology including robotic access, high-powered lasers, ability to do transperitoneal/fusion biopsies, Robotic Aquablation and Rezum in the office setting
  • Highly competitive salary model linked to value-based care instead of pure productivity measure
  • Shared weekend call 1:9 with partial AP/ Resident support

  • Support from a team of Advanced Practitioners for clinic and on call responsibilities

This is an ideal opportunity for a urologist seeking a desirable work/life balance with a focus on providing excellent patient care. There is also opportunity to participate in clinical research and teach residents from our fully accredited urology program.

Position Details

A urologist manages benign and malignant medical and surgical disorders of the genitourinary system and the adrenal glands. This specialist has comprehensive knowledge of and skills in endoscopic, percutaneous and open surgery of congenital and acquired conditions of the urinary and reproductive systems and their contiguous structures.

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania

Skills
